# ClipOnIt

> ClipOnIt is a web app (https://cliponit.app) with two AI video tools: a clipper that turns a long video or a YouTube link into short vertical clips with auto-reframe and word-by-word captions, and an explainer video editor that turns an idea, a text or your voice into an illustrated vertical explainer video. Both can be driven from Claude or ChatGPT through a built-in MCP server and REST API.

ClipOnIt is made for podcasters, YouTubers, coaches and agencies who publish on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Free plan without credit card (40 minutes of video per month), paid plans from $29/month counted in hours of video (no credits; clips and exports stay while the subscription is active), UI in French and English, hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Finland). - Live (https://cliponit.app/live, early access on request, Pro and Business plans): a browser studio for a video podcast with guests invited by link (2 on Pro, up to 3 on Business); the camera follows whoever speaks and everyone records in full quality on their own device, uploaded in chunks during the session. During the live, you mark the moments; at the end, one click sends the episode to Smart Clipper, which turns it into clips starting with your markers (same quotas as an import). The assembled episode (16:9 or 9:16) and each participant's track can be downloaded. No clip detection during the live and no streaming to YouTube or Twitch.

## Partnerships (early access)

- ClipOnIt Partnerships (https://cliponit.app/partenaires) is a paid clipping marketplace in early access, in internal testing (no real payments yet). A brand or creator funds a campaign on a long video with a budget and a price per 1,000 views; clippers join, the source lands in their Smart Clipper without downloading, they post the clips on their own accounts with an ad disclosure and submit the link; views are read through platform APIs on connected accounts (no screenshots), the brand approves, validated earnings are paid 7 days after posting.
- Planned terms at launch: 5% fee on amounts paid out (brand side), card fees at cost, €100 minimum budget, unspent budget refunded, 0% taken from clippers, payouts in the EEA, UK, US, Canada and Switzerland. No income promise.
- Referrals: 5% of a referral's validated amounts for 90 days, paid by ClipOnIt, capped at $50 per referral, only after a first approved clip (simulated during testing).
