Yes: create your account, no card. The free plan gives 40 minutes of video a month, up to 20 minutes per video, with a watermark. Starter ($29/month): 8 hours a month, no watermark.
Why an account?
Every video goes through transcription and an AI that picks the moments: we keep that work for accounts. Your clips stay in your space, you can fine-tune them, and you get an email when they are ready.
Why does the YouTube import sometimes fail?
YouTube sometimes blocks automated downloads. In that case ClipOnIt shows a clear message: drop the video file (MP4, MOV, WEBM) into Smart Clipper and the result is the same.
Which languages?
Transcription detects the video's language: French, English and dozens more. Captions are in the spoken language.
Do my videos stay private?
Yes. They are processed on servers in the European Union and visible only to you. On the free plan they are deleted after 7 days.
